Nicklow vs Kennedy exciting but not decisive
September 17, 2010, in action from DuBurn's Arena, in Baltimore, MD, Jesse "The Beast" Nicklow(20-2-3, 7ko) fought "Vicous" Julius Kennedy(7-0-1, 3ko) to a majority draw. In a fight that featured two hometown pugilists, the crowd was treated to 10 rounds of non stop action. Kennedy launched a vicious body attack, while Nicklow landed fast combinations to the head. With the fans roaring through every round, everyone packed inside the arena knew the fight was close coming down the stretch. In rounds 9 and 10, Nicklow seemed to get his second wind and poured on a variety of punches. When all was said and done, the three judges scored the bout 98-92 for Nicklow, and 95-95.
